Overview

Located in the heart of Broomfield, Colorado, Pupuseria Lily LLC offers a genuine taste of Salvadoran cuisine in an inviting and warm setting. This family-owned restaurant specializes in pupusas, the beloved traditional stuffed corn tortillas that serve as their signature dish. Whether you're a longtime fan of pupusas or sampling them for the first time, Pupuseria Lily brings authenticity and care to each order, with pupusas made fresh to ensure both flavor and quality.

The menu highlights classic fillings like pork (chicharrón), cheese, flower with cheese (loroco con queso), and beans with cheese, showcasing the rich variety and depth of traditional Salvadoran fare. The texture of their pupusas combines a delicate crispness with a tender interior, accompanied by a tangy cabbage curtido and zesty salsa that elevate the dish. While some find the pupusas a bit on the dry side, the overall flavor profile remains robust and satisfying.

Pupuseria Lily’s beverage selection complements the meal beautifully, offering refreshing options such as Jarritos in tropical flavors and traditional aguas frescas like lemonade and jamaica. The homemade horchata stands out, providing a sweet, creamy contrast to the savory pupusas and is well worth trying.

The experience at Pupuseria Lily is deeply enhanced by the owners' genuine hospitality. This husband-and-wife team brings a personal touch, making guests feel welcomed and valued. Their authenticity shines not only in the cuisine but in the warm, attentive service that ensures each visit is memorable. The modest, comfortable space suits families and casual diners alike, creating a neighborhood feel that invites repeat visits.

Ideal for anyone craving a slice of Salvadoran culture or a hearty, comforting meal, Pupuseria Lily offers more than just food—it delivers an experience grounded in tradition, flavor, and kindness. If you find yourself near 13675 Huron Street, it is a place worth stopping by.

This place is absolutely fantastic, but what really makes it amazing are the owners. The absolute sweetest people you will meet! So authentic and they put that authenticity into their food which makes their food so tasty! Give this place a chance. It will NOT disappoint! I'm already planning on going back!

The best Pupusas that I’ve tried in a while. The food and service was great! Everyone is friendly and pay attention to everything. They stand by their service and quality of food and it shows. Pupusas are made fresh by order. Love the cabbage and salsa that it comes with, it’s very tasty. I had two pupusas and was very satisfied. They were so good I could have maybe had one more. I will be returning for more :) By the way I also ordered an Horchata and tasted delicious.

Very good pupusas, good flavor, excellent curtido. Pupusas were a little dry but good flavor. I tried the horchata but it needs more flavor.

So fresh and good! Takes a little while to get because they make it right there at the moment you order. But I was so glad I went to the car parts store that day and found this pupuseria! Definetly a must!

Salvadorian here, I definitely came here with a critical eye since there are not many pupusa places around. I was not disappointed. The pupusas were really good and the Horchata was authentic. I would recommend. Warning you, Salvadorian Horchata is way different than mexican Horchata.

This spot is literally a hidden gem. This place is it. Literally a hole-in-the-wall food truck hidden away in Brighton, and honestly one of the best pupusa spots I’ve ever had. The pupusas are fire—perfectly crisp on the outside, melty and flavorful on the inside. But what took it to the next level was the curtido and salsa. The curtido was fresh, tangy, and just the right amount of crunch. And the salsa? So damn good I could drink it. Not watery, not too spicy—just packed with real flavor. If you’re even thinking about trying it, do it. It’s that kind of place you want to gatekeep but can’t because everyone deserves this kind of food.
